Bliss.
This weekend turned out to be such a great one. I worked on Saturday but other than that, nothing particularly noteworthy. I just love eating ice cream, cleaning the house, going discount shopping, and sitting at home being goofy with Kyle. We went to Toys ‘R Us and bought some board games, came right home and started a very quiet, civilized game of monopoly. Kyle caught me off guard this morning with a surprising amount of affection which he carried into the evening. Not that he isn’t a loving fabulous hubby…he just doesn’t tend to show affection very often. So it always catches me a little off guard when he wakes up feeling extra lovey and cheerful. I love it.
I engaged in a little retail therapy today which was probably stupid and irresponsible, but hey…being bipolar is fun. I picked up two long sweaters from Macy’s (you know, the kind that are in style right now…long “boyfriend-style” that button down) and some new body wash and cream from Bath and Body. Oh yeah..and some leggings. And a new coffee pot. I have gone through three coffee pots in less than 6 months. Things that I touch just love to explode, or shatter, or die.
Off to watch House and try to kick my late night sugar cravings. The USUAL.

i liiiiive in my long cardigans. i bought two from the gap. i’m so lucky to work with only men, they have no idea if i wear the same thing every. day.
your weekend sounds GOOD to me.
we had friends over, sat around, watched tv, had a really nice family dinner and just relaxed. well, at least one day we did ..we moved me into lain’s house officially on sunday, so we were busy as heck!
