Up, down, up?

These past three months have been absolute hell, to be honest. Yesterday I reached a bit of a breaking point, and I am so lucky to have my great family. I can’t seem to say that enough lately. My poor mom, a recent empty-nester, is getting another run for her money!

How about the growing “situation” going on in the torso region? Let’s touch on the fact that I’m only three months along, still under 120 pounds, and almost overnight–I’ve got this stomach. The last few weeks I’ve been able to get by wearing normal-ish work shirts, so long as they are not super tight and I walk around for 8 hours holding my breath. Speaking of–I never realized until recently how much time I spend sucking in my stomach. It’s like a compulsion, and even though it doesn’t work anymore, I can’t seem to stop doing it? Twins…ha ha ha, HAHAHAHA! I can’t hide it much longer. I’m hoping one day soon, I’ll wake up and just feel comfortable being this new lady. Kyle and I keep talking about how “funny” (and by funny, I mean…horrifying) it would be if they found triplets on my next ultrasound next week.

Hopefully my new doctor-sanctioned sleep and life routine will stick around. I’d love to start posting photos again, you know, of silly mundane things like our precious pre-lit Christmas tree and presents, or my dogs, or my husband’s cute face. For now though, I’m going to keep focusing solely on sleeping and getting stronger.

Baby steps. Literally.

I also how noticed I was sucking in my stomach once I became pregnant. How odd! Especially for pictures!

Hellish is pretty much the same way I would describe my first trimester (and a few weeks into the 2nd). The rest of the 2nd beginning of 3rd though? I felt AWESOME. Hopefully you will, too.

<3 Thinking of you & your family. And get used to taking help now – it's good practice. I've always sucked at asking/taking help, and it made things a lot harder for me.

Baby steps! Yes! Good attitude.

Yes, keep on sleeping and resting and getting strong – hopefully you will find some relief soon! I think being pregnant in general is probably a weird and constantly changing feeling, from what I’ve read, I can’t wait to read more about your experience.
